Real Food. Real People.

If you're a sandwich-lover, and a tuna-fillet lover, why not combine the two and make one great, delicious, nutritious meal? If you're searching for an easy, but extremely yummy recipe to give your sandwiches a new twist, try the one below!

How to Prepare a Tuna Fillet Sandwich

  • Tuna Fillet
  • Whole Grain Bread
  • Manchego Cheese
  • Tomato
  • Avocado
  • Red Bell Pepper
  • Soy Sauce
  • Garlic Salt
  • Olive oil

  1. First, start cooking the tuna fillet with the soy sauce, the garlic salt, and a tiny bit of olive oil to keep it from sticking to the pan. The secret here is to grill the tuna on the outside, but keep it juicy on the inside.
  2. At the same time, toast two slices of whole grain bread, so they're golden and crunchy for your sandwich. If you use a whole grain, seeded bread, such as Great Harvest's Dakota Bread, you'll be giving your sandwich extra delicious flavor.
  3. When the tuna and bread are ready, start slicing the rest of ingredients: the red bell pepper, tomato, avocado, and cheese. You can include as much of these as you want in your sandwich.
  4. Once that's done, you just need to spread some mayonnaise on one of the bread slices and start stacking up the ingredients to make your sandwich. After that, all that will be left to do is enjoy it!
