Real Food. Real People.

While it is true that there are a lot of tasty flavors to indulge in during Thanksgiving dinner, one has a special place in our hearts: the gravy. And with good reason, as it enhances the turkey, the mashed potatoes, the bread rolls, and more. That's why, if you'd like to prepare a Thanksgiving gravy your guests won't forget, you should follow the recipe below!

How to Prepare Thanksgiving Gravy

6 Cups of Turkey Stock (with Pan Turkey Drippings)
2 Chopped Onions
1 Stick of Butter
1/4 Cup of All-Purpose Flour
Poultry Seasoning (as preferred)
Salt and Pepper (as preferred)

Start by pouring the turkey stock into a saucepan and bringing it to boil.
In a separate pan, add in the butter and onions, and let them sit there on a medium-low heat until the onions turn a light brown color (this may take around 15 minutes).
Add the flour into the pan with the onions, and stir it up nicely.
Next up, pour the hot turkey stock into the onions and, once again, mix it well. Let it cook without a lid for 5 minutes until it thickens up.
Sprinkle the poultry seasoning, the salt, and the pepper to your liking. Take a spoonful to get a taste of the mixture (let it cool a bit first), and decide if it's in need of any more seasoning.
Pour the gravy over your Thanksgiving meal and enjoy every bite of it!
